Hi Jerry - I like how you've placed the Sandpiper in this shot. Re: Under a Giant Oak, I will likely return to take shots of areas not yet visited and the headstones under the oak will get revisited. Thanks for the input. I did clone out the 'wing' on the oak in another version which I leave here for your consideration.

thank you Hanggan. The box this man carried contained his workshop for leather working and shoe repair. He was the only one I saw carrying a portable workshop, but there were others like him who carried incredible loads upon their backs, such as in this photo of Man With Bale, attached.

Thanks for the comments, Teemu. I sometimes come here just to sit and listen to the water, wind in the trees, and birds. It's nice to have something like this in the middle of a large metropolitan area.

Reminds me of a chore from my c-hood to take out and burn the trash in a 50-gal drum. I also remember the smoke. I still like bonfires and flames in the fireplace, but do not miss burning the trash!

Traci, this could be a series. Neat finding this interesection. Thank you for the suggestion on Magic Pool. Was the cropped version I leave something like what you envisioned?

Stunning, Kenneth, and well titled. Magic Pool does look oversharpened and probably happened on upload. I leave an alternate version after Todd's suggestions.

How bout Rippled Rose? Excellent shot, John. thank you for the comment on Another Orchid. I'm afraid the labellum (the fancy petal) is about as sharp as possible. It was manually focused, but near an open door so it's possible there was a slight breeze. The rest of the orchid was intentionally blurred, but not the labellum. (It's also possible that my Tamaron zoom, thou pricey, is not as sharp as I'd like.) - Mister Ken

thank you, Mary. I did some PS processing to acheive the pastel appearance. As John Pitman pointed out, the sepals/petals are in soft focus (but not the labellum - the modified petal with the red dots). I posted the original in a response to John.
