Superb portrait , well exposed and lighted. There's a little shadow over her left eye (for viewers : right eye) , maybe this distracts a little bit , but still this is an excellent shot.

Technically this is perfect, a long and beautiful range of B&W tones, and the rendering of the eyes and skin is particularly impressive. As a professional photographer you probably don't want or need to be told this! The only reservation I have over this portrait is a strange one. I feel interested in what that expression actually means. It is ambiguous. And I can't decide whether this makes it a better portrait--because it makes me think as much about the subject as about the way the photo was taken--or a worse one, because it is not clear and immediate in appeal. I greatly admire this shot, but I wonder if you can understand the strange ambiguity I feel? Frankly, I don't even know if I particularly LIKE this young woman. There seems something dark, almost tragic, there just under the surface. Please forgive me if you feel this kind of comment is inappropriate. I really do admire your work...

If I were to suggest a possible improvement, it would be to try and smooth the texture of the skin on her elbow as it's right in your face!
