Very nice shot. Beautiful color and composition, Perhaps if the white part of the sky had a little more detail.

The top from about the kayakers nose level up and the lower forground had motion blur applied. First I made a hard mask around the head and an airbrushed mask elswhere to blend in..then applyed a moderate amount of motion blur. By masking tightly around the head the blur helps separate him from the background. The white foamy water next to the kayak is blured by the camera only.

Thanks for asking.

A nice detail shot. Would look good as part of a study of the area. Nice motion blur

Beautiful Shot, Nice golden color contrast to the blue/purple scene. If the waves were in sharper focus it would make it perfect, which would be hard to do because of the low light level. Perhaps faster film and a speed above 125 sec to stop the motion of the water.
Good job!

I like it! Interesting angle, not the usual horizontal plane. I also like the crop. It gives it extra energy. Thanks for including your technical method of tinting the water blue. I never would have thought of doing that.
