Hi Janet,
Thanks for the suggestion. I've never really done anything with the midtones before so I'll give it a try. What I really learned from this one is WHY didn't I use my on-camera flash? Seems like there is usually something I think of AFTER the fact. Oh well, next time.

Beautiful little girl, Elizabeth! I love the composition of this and the tilt to her head. She is gorgeous!
I would be tempted to brighten the midtones, then I think you'd beable to see the catchlight in her other eye, as well as the beautiful color they are! It may blow out her white shirt ~ which right now is exposed perfectly! ~ but maybe you could do it in layers and erase the shirt back in.
Really a cute portrait!! Well done!
