Quite an unique angle of view. I have included my idea of a way to help the white sky area. Don.

Mmm the picture looks to light. I like that effect but to reach a sillouet you must take a quiker shutter, light can not fall on a subject so you get a sillouet.
Sorry for the recent lack of comments, but I've been very bussy whit school. But now I'am 100% usefilm availeble, so the comment rain will drop down again!

I think what you should of done here is when taking the photo, rotate you body about 20 degree to the right to get more land in it and less sky and then the sky wouldnt be so overpowering and the huge amount of water.

Its lacking sharpness which can easy be fixed in photoshop with the sharpness filter.

Also If you have photoshop CS you might want to try using 'photo filter' which is in the adjusments tab and you can do like a 50% warm filter which will make this image a little more inviting.

Fascinating creature, nice catch!! Familiar shapes in unfamiliar places - gotta love it! Would be nice to have the tips of the antennae also in the frame, as well as have better focus. The reflections aren't as much of a distraction as one might expect, IMHO. Thanks for sharing!

Super capture and definitely a rarity. I just wish it where a tad sharper and the reflections where not present. But then, sometimes we have to take what is offered and be thankful. You got it. Lucky you!!

Cheers - Bill

Ah, 'de Stijl (Stilj??)' Mondriaan and his friends. I find the diagonal angle funny and teasing, Mondriaan hated diagonallys. This version whit lights and all is very beautifull.

Wonderfull patterns you found here. The leaf looks very soft, is it out of focus? The lines are awsome, looks like an abstract to me

Nicely done!

Dai,
Strong and Excellent! Great framing, lines contrast and depth.

On the lion photo. I'll attach an almost full frame view. I'd have to re-scan the slide for the full frame. I shot it at maybe 10-12 meters. with a 440mm lens.

Thanks for you nice comment. You're photos are great
