hi ya,brat...could have sworn i dropped com here previously,but guess glitch ate it....good move to replace sky and someday i will learn how to do that....love old barns and i try to capture the ones in my area while they still remain...like how you framed the shot and the texture of the grasses...good one!

hmmm....you are the 2nd man here to assume i am not shooting just because i no longer post HERE!
i have infact won some photo contests elsewhere and there are "real,not virtual prizes"...AND i teach a serious critique/basic photo class...
as soon as Doyle sends Gene-bear to visit me,then i will post his photos...should just be a few more weeks....i may even decide to post something sooner just for the halibut,too!

Thanks for the sunflowers which ARE in my top 3 fave flower choices...most kind of you to post this for me and seems symbolic of "me n' you"...which is which doesn't matter cause we be like 2 peas in a pod! ;>

he did a good job and gave you an artistic blur for the heck of it...LOL...i like the setting and his alertness...i would print and hang this one because it has that southwest flavor and is a very nice comp!

this is pretty and looks like you did some editing to boost the contrast...compositionally i would crop in from the right as viewed (approx 1/3 of the frame) to give a better placement to the butterfly...also, clone out that bit of stamen,or stem poking up between butterfly and other flowers on the left as viewed....i like the texture/colors of the butterfly and has almost a 3-D look
