he did a good job and gave you an artistic blur for the heck of it...LOL...i like the setting and his alertness...i would print and hang this one because it has that southwest flavor and is a very nice comp!

this is pretty and looks like you did some editing to boost the contrast...compositionally i would crop in from the right as viewed (approx 1/3 of the frame) to give a better placement to the butterfly...also, clone out that bit of stamen,or stem poking up between butterfly and other flowers on the left as viewed....i like the texture/colors of the butterfly and has almost a 3-D look

you did a nice job with the perspective to get the beach end to the corner of the framing in the foreground...you want to watch your horizons to make sure they are straight in-camera,or corrected in post edit...i think you should play in your edit program to tweak the contrast level as it appears a bit flat on my monitor...if you don't mind and i get the chance,i could do an edit and post here in the coms afterwards?....like the whitecaps

hi, excellent commercial look....you should create a portfolio of just this style of shooting and then show them to your local jewelry stores to get work shooting their ads!

oops! just noticed you came here when i did back in 2003!
welcome back...i,too,only shoot film and love ilford films...B/W is my first love and all i shot many moons ago when i first picked up a 35mm manual Mamiya...i now use a Nikon N60 which is older,but trusty...if i do ad a digital at some pt.,it will have to be a Nikon DSLR...just something about chemical images that digital images lack with the closest match being the CMOS pro digital camera images....cheers,gayle

NBK as in Naval base Kitsap?.....i am not close to the area and am on the way to Mt.Rainier in a rural area...but if you ever shoot in old Puyallup,or near glass Museum of Tacoma,then you may see me now and again...

hi,dear friend....sumptuous image of a perfect strawberry!...especially like the patterns on the leaves...
just as a reminder, the new project has this notation:"Have some fun with this one, and a reminder to post new photos for this and all projects instead of recylcing photos from the past."
dates of photos will be looked at.....am sure you remember the previous problems with roll over images ;) :)

very good comp with great clarity of details and nice dof....not a toy camera,tho'...holga and similiar plastic lens cameras primarily using 120mm medium format film are toy cameras

good combo of soft and sharp...reducing the shadowing with the reflector was a smart move...uncanny how much she favors me from my highschool days...my eyebrows were unplucked,but otherwise i had that Olivia Hussey actress look...
