It provides a comfortable view, like a picture window..

Beautiful... Colors, subject and composition are in perfect harmony.
Belongs on a greeting card. The bird will certainly draw the attention of the reader..
A sepia version would also be welcomed...

Unusual and excellent view of the flower. The colors are vibrant and the drops of water provide "in-nature" feel.
The photo, as-is , is a great candidate for a greeting card..

Excellent portrait!!
Perfect capture of capture of emotion/mood by the use of lighting, framing and sepia like b/w presentation.
The use of the many shades of grey are lke the photos that I enjoyed in the old LIfe magzine..

Beautiful portrait. Well composed and croped. Backlighting and primary soft lighting are well balanced .

Good shot. Perfect color and framing.
DOF is well managed for the eyes. A bit more in focus ( to include the tip of the nose) would have created a prize winner.

Excellent capture, caption and "about"..
It's somewhat dramatic and can be linked to emotion and mood. The contrast and lack of saturated colors adds to the setting.. The time of day is a question.. I would guess, late afternoon.
The same photo is sepia would be stunning..

Your use of the square format and framing adds to the "comfort zone" portrayed in the photo... Suggestion: A warmer tone (like sepia) would further enhance this great shot..

Thanks for the comment. Those peaceful slow swimming carp turned the greeen pond into an apparent orange/red boiling pot in a matter of seconds. The certainly have big mouths..
