Incredible, weird, dreamy and beautiful! Very intelligent and personal composition. May be would fit a little more contrast so that the hand could be more black. Anyway this is a great image. My copliments!

Hi Steff,
Thanks for your comment. I don't know about the Yashimar lenses, but the Yashinon on my camera is pretty sharp. It might be true dat the Yashimar only produces good results at f11 or f16, but you'll use those apertures the most anyway (because of the limited dof with an 80mm lens). Good luck with your camera.

Hi Tim,
nice use of DOF and good toning. The building in the back is slightly leaning to the left.
Apparently the Yashinon lenses are sharper than the Yashimar. Is that true? I'm testing my Yashimar lense at the moment - it is said it produces good results at f11/f16 only.

Your sky is subtle and well toned Tim, nice minimalisit image but I get a hint or the surreal here somehow...

Your street shots are great, they can be hard to come by so it is always handy to have a camera at hand.

This is great, its always fun to capture people standing at bus stations or waiting at train stations like this. There is a special dynamic that goes with the teritory. I love the way you split the image with the pole, adds tension for me. Great shot. I know what you mean about the scanner. I have one the same!

I am completely absorbed by streetwork and an image like this always excites me. There is so much action in this shop that make come to life.

Good tones in this image, its a very silent moment with a sense of a change, its an interesting image. I like it.

You did it! It's not completely sharp, but it's great that you know how to DoKa... You didn't mess up your room for nothing! Now you can make a lot more pictures... Oh and I like the lights in this picture! Very Hollandsche Kermisch! :-P

A good shot, but slightly higher view point and added contrast would have improved the overall effect.

Aaaaaaaaah....artistieke vrijheid dus
Ik heb zelf een Electro GSN in dienst, daarmee.
Eerlijk gezegd vindt ik het merendeel van je foto's best smaken.
Zo, vriendelijke groetjes van

Yes, but the Electro and I had a disagreement about the closest focusing distance. I was too lazy to move my chair and he was too stubborn to go beyond 80cm... But that's OK, because it reflects the mood of a place where sharpness fades away with time (and the amount of beer one drinks) :-)

Good shot, but not a single sharp point. Should have been possible with the Electro!?
