Aw Stan thank you very much!! I read a tutorial on how to delete the background and this was a first practice for me. Thanks for all the encouragement on my little works lol
Sadly I have no mountains in Dallas area lol blah
(But our little secret, I got a GPS for Christmas and hope to find something more interesting ASAP) lol Don't tell anyone I snooped in my gift! ha ha Have a wonderful new year!

Great capture Pam. The colors and suspense of the drop are wonderful. I think AJ had a good thought with the BG matching the white of the UF background. Would make a great entrance as such. You are doing some great shots.

The drop itself is beautifully formed, along with the refraction and reflection. But the background really makes this image. You might even go a step further and adjust it to exactly the UF background...
Just another thought (as this is CC'd): I know the reflection is an integral part of the image, but once the background fades away it looks a little disconnected - maybe in this case it would be even stronger without the reflection?

Your a good mix my dear .B. I have a little Cherokee in my mom's side of the family. She was born in Oklahoma. I have always been drawn to the Native American old life style and the sad plight that they have been forced into by our government and the ignorance of so many people. The history of how we have stripped them of so much of the land and life they had before we domesticated them is a heart rending tale. Funny some of the common threads we share in this not so random universe.

Very nice capture of the colors and intricacies of this wonderful doll.. The stories behind these dolls are so fascinating. I have studied SW American Indian history and am so amazed at the belief system and the reverence for the planet and the life cycles involved.
