Stunning nature. Great colors. Agree about the branch on the top, however still a great shot.

Tim-what a lovely view and I can see why you keep it a secret. I like how the shadows in this image add depth to the scene-excellent job!

Tim-I always enjoy these types of photos when they are pulled off with good lighting. This is an excellent one! In answer to your question in one of your comments about my Moore Cove Falls shot, a behind the falls photo is included in my portfolio.

Beautiful saturated colors. Great sharpness as well. Seeing the detail of the water on the fern in the foreground is great. I do wonder if this would look stronger in a portrait format versus landscape. I'm yearning to see the height of the trees.

Wow, is that a beautifully captured scene! Really nice colors and composition. I'd say the vertical "banding," evident especially in the sky, detracts from the perfection. Nice work, though, despite that.

I so want to see this in color. Hopefully you're not just converting this by changing the mode to grayscale. Using the Channel Mixer set to monochrome provides you much more flexibility in how you tone your image in PS. Anyhow it would be great to see this in color. Big Sur is so beautiful I think the detail here would be better revealed in color. The monochrome image doesn't reveal too much texture here as the DOF is so great.

Pfeifer State Park is great. The area under the redwoods is so cool. Your photo is great. It brings back many good memories. Great upward perspective. I like the deep green. Provia works well here. Were you using a polarizing filter? Tough to tell if it would have helped in the hot spot in the left portion of the sky. Great lines and color!

Tim, a magnificent photo; The tones are excellent, and the composition as well as the wide angle increase the sense of hight. Superb! Great Depth of Field, my compliments!

Abstracts are so hard to judge, there a matter of pure taste, I was attracted to this photo because of the flowers, if it was my photo I would up the gamma slide to lighten the background and put it in the florals. But as is, it has nice contrasting colors with good detail. Best Regards, Sandra

I feel this image would be better left in color. It seems a little bit too brown. I like the subject a lot.
