Yes, the statue adds a great sense of depth. And the fact that you let the distant church go very slightly out of focus also emphasizes the depth. We have two things in common, I see. Not only panoramas but a strong sense of the third dimension! You should try a stereo camera one day if you haven't already. They are fun...

Thank you for commenting on my panorama. I see that you like panoramas, too. This is a beautiful one, with housing so very different from here in Japan.

You took this shot at right time. You still have the feeling of the evening but you get a lot of details as if it was taken in the day. The lights on the building really add some interesting line on the building. Excellent work.

Hi Sven, now this is a good pano - very well stitched, not easy with the water! Here you have made a good job of it. The sky is a little over and maybe you could have helped that in PS. But Sven my congrats on a very nice image.

not too bad, I like the composition. it is interesting. it definatley would of been a different shot minus the people. but both would have good qualities.

cheers,

Hey Sven, this is cute I like the care you have taken with the composition, the flowers in the foreground etc. The seat seem a little blown out, could be my monitor though. I also like the way the foliage hangs around the seat. Nice image.

Sven,

It is a nice shot. Have you thought about using smaller aperture, say, f8.0 or bigger number? I think it would have better what they call DOF. --Eric

Trotz allem "e schöne Sunntig no!"

I like it! Is this one shot, or a few photos stitched together? Either way, the shot is seemless. I like the fish eye effect of the photo. It emphasizes the vastness of the scenery and the dramatic curve of the shore without distorting the human figures on either side of the photo (they create a nice balance, by the way). Great work!
