Wow, this is a great photo. Great composition and capture of the motion in the water. I can almost smell the fresh air and leaves. Nicely done.

Very beautiful shot. This reminds of the scenery from the Enchantments lakes near leavenworth. Well done.

Great photo. Black and white was a great choice for this portrait. Nice job!

Nice photo. I really like how the blue eye stands out. It is very striking. The colors are great. It would have been nice to see a bit more of the front legs to create a more complete composition. Nonetheless, this is a great photo.

I really like what you have done with this image. Can you explain how you achieved this look for the picture?

This is a great photo. I really like the subject and the composition. It would be even better if the background was a bit more blurry to bring more attention to the subject (the man in the photo). Thanks for sharing this photo.

Great photo. I really like the stark contrast between the flower and the background. Nice job!

Thanks for asking about why I took the photo. I have been taking photos for the designer of the dress the model is wearing. The designer has been interested in various farm related locations and I catpured the photo as a test shot for a potential location for the next photo shoot. The photo is just one of several test photos to see if a farm theme would work well for the designers fashions. Here is a link to the designer's website, which is where you can see some of my other photos ... www.glamgarb.com

Hey Chris, thanks for the tip. I really wish I knew how to use Photoshop as well as you. I like what you did with the image. Using the original image, I am going to try to reproduce what you've done with the modified image. I really appreciate you taking the time to offer your advice. Thanks again.

Good call. I took out the power lines. I can't do much about the lighting around her face, but here's a new image without the power lines. Thanks for the feedback.

Great advice. I retouched the image a bit with photoshop. I adjusted the saturation (per your advice) and I really like the result. I think I still need to work with the colors a bit, but I am feeling like the photo is starting look better. Thanks again for the tip ... here's the latest version of the photo with modified saturation (the colors look a lot better in my opinion).

Hi Guido, I took some more photos this weekend. I just posted a new photo in which I used a reflector (gold colored) and I really like the result. Thanks again for the information about reflectors and diffusers.

Great, thanks for the information. I will try to make a reflector and a diffuser for myself. I'll take some photos on Friday and post them this weekend. I am excited to see how if this helps me capture better photos. Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback. Good advice. I will try to use some reflectors this weekend when I take some more pictures. Do you have any advice about what material(s) makes for a good reflector?

Thanks for the comment. This photo was taken for a clothing designer to show how her clothing can be layered to create an interesting effect. I agree that the composition is not that great, but I just wanted to show the clothing and not much else in this photo. I left the house and the boot in the photo because I want the viewers to understand that the clothing has a country (western) and classic Americana look. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I used a flash to fill in the shadows. I captured 2 versions, one with a flash and the other without. I most certainly prefer the flash version. I attached the non-flash fill version so that you can see the difference.

Yeah, good point. Here's the photo converted to grey scale ... Pam, do you have any advice about how to make the black & white conversion more compelling with photoshop? It looks a little dull to me, but maybe I am being to critical.

Thanks for the feedback. Dang, I didn't even see the little string you mentioned. Though, now that I see it, it is a bit distracting. Good eye.

This is a very cool photo. It's a shame that no one has commented it. Anyhow, I like the composition and color. This is a neat old shack and I am glad to see that you captured it on film before it rotted away. Thanks for sharing this photo.

This is a pleasant photo. I actually think that it would be even better if you had really zoomed in on the girl in the photo because she is the more interesting subject (in my opinion) in the photo. Anyhow, thanks for sharing this photo. Your alpha female photo (below) is very cool by the way.

Neat shot. I don't really understand what is underneath the cloth, but that's what drew me to the photo in the first place. This is a very intriguing photo. Thanks for sharing your photo.

Wow, I am glad that clicked on your little thumbnail and saw this photo up close. From the thumbnail, the bales actually did look like marshmallows. This is a great shot, it works on the micro scale (like marshmallows) and the macro scale (like bales of heavy hay). Anyhow, thanks for capturing and sharing this intriguing photo.
