I really love how that red stands out so prominently, good choice, but I think it would be equally as good without the red.

So another from this series, very interesting work. It's nice seeing both versions with sepia tones and then here, where you can get higher contrast and a different effect. The grains serve as the grit of the image, going along with the idea of pain and what is happening, addicition? nice stuff here.

Painfull is how I percieve the image, it is a sad commentary on the planned demise of a perfectly healthy individual, but an individual choice none the less. The lighting expresses the slight phisical pain well, but I think it more correctly expresses the future pain. Guess we all have pain, just look at my demons in "The year 2525" Thanks for sharing and listening, CAry

OOOOOH! you are absolutely right about putting things out in a very "in your face" manner. I have a simliar picture i will post up that is not so straight forward. Look for it, I would love your opinion on that one. probably in the next 48 hours, i will have it up. Thanks for the comment

I definately think a little cropping could help you out here. As for the image, it is very in your face with the content. Sometimes this can be really nice, and other times there are more subtle ways to say something. This is all your decision, and here it is presented clearly, forcing the viewer to make a judgement and decision, to think. Interesting idea and content.

Love the setup as it really show us what you saw throught your own eyes. The only thing is that the sky is overexposed but there's really nothing much you can do for that except taking the picture at a different time of the day. Keep up the good work.
