Thank you Gayle, the river is in the heart of Wayne County, Mich, just north of the Ford Rouge Plant. Over the years, the polution of the waters has been reduced and now a pathway is in place to try and get people back into the outdoors to appreciate what is there. Again thanks for your kind words.

Cary, thanks for the comment. Yes, this is a trout stream. It flows east to Lake Huron in the upper portion of the Lower Peninsula. Just a mile or so from where I took this shot, the same place I went "native" is the source of the stream, Foch Lake Flooding.
