Wonderful - a little darker on the pant leg would have worked well. Very contemplative image.

Very nice - good content, execellent tones - One problem, the weapon is a pistol, not a revolver.

Very nice, love the light and tones you consistantly produce in your images. I only wish the model, who is beautiful, had been looking just a bit lower, her eyes not so high in the sockets.

thank your for your comments, wild flowers are wonderful for the simple fact that we have done nothing to corrupt them and they are beautiful despite humankind.

Margaret, Thanks for the comments on this and the other image. The shadow is not the lens cap, though I have been known to get a lens hood shadow in shots, it is the shadow of a branch with an insect gall.
Thanks

Mary, no problem, thanks for taking the time to reply. I worked a on it a little before your post, and came up with something similar, take a look at the flower shot I recently posted.
thanks again,
I also have my email on my profile page - easier in some ways than this.

Execellent location and shot. All I ever find is an old Italian telling me how to have my hair cut. Thats why I have a ponytail now.

In Photoshop:
Open the image
Double click the background layer on the layers pallet
The New Layers box will pop up, say ok to the default of :
Layer 0, Color None, Mode Normal, Opacity 100%
Now:
On the top command bar:
Image; Canvas Size ? whatever size you want. Make sure you set your color first for the background. If the background is transparent, don?t worry, when you get the grid it will go to the background color when you flatten the image before saving.

Layer pallet:
Double click Layer 0
Double click Drop Shadow on the Layer Style Box
You will get the controls box up; there you can play with depth, width, on and on.

When you are done, flatten the image and save as a different file name, which you already know.
That?s what I do, there may be a simple one step way, but I don?t know it.
Hope this helps
