yes,indeed a "peace and tranquility" image which does my heart good!...to know that these dogs were rescued from an inhumane place and now thrive at the sanctuary,definitely brings peace to mind...good shot and i can tell they are enjoying their surroundings

i wish that everyone could see the significant improvements that this dog,Maria,has achieved in just a few short weeks under your care at the sanctuary...i am so glad to know she was adopted by a family who has other dog family members :)

Era de esperar Ruth, de todos modos el dia anterior volvimos a entrar a sacar unos cuantos.
A partir del viernes tenemos a tres televisiones europeas aqui dando cuenta de lo sucedido. Mira por donde me he visto metido en una guerra... con lo tranquilo que estaba yo en Brasil..

I see that you must be an animal lover & I wish more people were. Animals so often get treated worse than anyone. Some of your pictures are heartbreaking but maybe this is what is so important about photography, the ability we have to portray what we see that often others do not. Bless you & your work. I think this is the cutest dog portrait I have ever seen. He looks so sweet. I wish he were mine. I like the red color of the collar against the other colors. Can't believe a picture this cute has so many views & no comments.

I am not as optimistic as you regarding an end to all this injustice.. well.. actually, you could be right.. if man continues treating not only animals but nature in general with so much disregard, he will be facing his own extintion. Hi Ivan,
This really touched my heart, when I saw how in Istambul they treat the dogs, I think a human being can be judget by the way he behaves with the animals.

Esos perrillos fueron asesinados este fin de semana con objeto de eliminar evidencias para la investigacion que hemos lanzado... de todos modos no importa, esta todo bien claro. No voy a parar hasta que quiten a esa gentuza de enmedio.

ya me he enterado de todo, me lo conto rut.
yo flipo!!me he estado descojonando (con tu permiso) del debate que has generado, has estado nominado y el publico te ha salvado. jjjjj
menudo subnormal el jeroen de las narices, te lo digo ahora y te lo dije el otro día en el comentario que hice en esta misma foto, que ha desaparecido.
