OH! i love it when people do this with flowers. Strong unidirectional side lighting, or back lighting that sets the flower 'on fire'.I recently took a bunch of pictures of gerber daisies using the same technique. Anyways, Good use of rule of 1/3's, placing interesting points at 1/3 across. DOF is very suitable to the picture. My only complaint is the leaf sticking out of the bottom right corner. It would be dead easy to clone out! It would be a one click fix, and it would remove the only distracting element in the frame. Keep up the good work, ~Tim

Hugo, Thank you so much for your CC, i always appreciate a good piece of coherent input.
I actually tried to avoid the 'lower left' composition as i've seen it done that way a thousand times, and was trying to take my own spin off. I wanted to concentrate more on the act, and feminine characteristics of the model. I do agree with you regarding the crop, it is a bit tight. The original allows the model to breath a bit, but there is a big hulking tree branch in the corner, so i cropped it out. I was feeling lazy, so i didn't clone it lol. Thanks again for your comments, very much appreciated. ~Tim

Hey Angela, great shot! I haven't browsed your pics in a while, i've missed out on loads of good stuff. Keep up the good work. Two things that kind of take away from the image, her foot is cut-off and what looks to be a bra-strap is poking out. Overall though, its a great shot of a young lady enjoying herself. Well done.

cool. i like the shot, but frankly, i'm getting kind of tired of seeing the same old, across usefilm. Don't take this as an insult, the image is nearly flawless. I'd like to see what you could come up with, in regards to orginality with water drops. ~Tim~

fabulous colours. well done Jason.I would like to see the DOF in this image a little bit greater, so the entire leaf is in focus, and a bit more contrast on the leaf so it pops out even more. Overall, a wonderful image. I just took a couple leaf pictures, i believe one or two of them are up on my page. Keep up the good work. ~Tim~

Hey Paul, thanks for the feedback, I edited this photo on my LCD laptop screen, which is not calbriated as well as i would like it to be! Consequently, when viewed on a CRT screen its more blurred than i thought! Thanks for pointing this out.
I would have liked to have the entire reflection in, but the layout of the pond did not allow for it. The shore was right out of frame where the reflection ends, if that makes any sense to you. Thanks a lot for the CC, very much appreciated. ~Tim~

Hey Joe, thanks for the tip, i actually thought about presenting the image that way, but i found that the diagonal line of the shadow did not look as clean with the entire grate in the picture. I totally understand where you are coming from though, thanks for the comment, ~Tim~
