Great motion blur. You captured just enough movement to convey the scene to the viewer, but the photo is still very crisp and in focus elsewhere. You could maybe crop off some of the top (but that's just a matter of opinion). Nicely done...

Lovely Tim - nice effect. I see you live in BC. What a beautiful part of the world that is. I've been through it on a bike a few times and enjoyed every second of it

Hey Paul,
thanks for the feedback, I edited this photo on my LCD laptop screen, which is not calbriated as well as i would like it to be! Consequently, when viewed on a CRT screen its more blurred than i thought! Thanks for pointing this out.

I would have liked to have the entire reflection in, but the layout of the pond did not allow for it. The shore was right out of frame where the reflection ends, if that makes any sense to you.
Thanks a lot for the CC, very much appreciated.

Hey Joe,
thanks for the tip, i actually thought about presenting the image that way, but i found that the diagonal line of the shadow did not look as clean with the entire grate in the picture. I totally understand where you are coming from though, thanks for the comment,

Thanks Dimitri.
I used a soft-filter to give a bit of a dreamy feel. Not everyone like it, i happen to be fond of the effect, i appreciate your feedback, cheers.

on one hand.. I like the mood of the image, with the soft focus, good colors as well... but I also wish the image was a lot sharper and more in focus and that more of the reflections were included in the image...

great colours, i feel the drain{the round thing} would of helped help ease the uniformed tiles if brought into the image to at least 3/4 of its whole, if you know what i mean? niceone joe

I won't rate it, baut I think that the good idea was not photographed well. Too blury and unclear. JMHO
