Wow... those are some superb and beautiful colours, Tjaart! The combination of deep brick-red, blue sky and golden grass is very pleasant. A very pleasant and lovely view.

I love the pattern and texture created by the wind blowing over the sand.

Nice composition with some interesting diagonal lines. I like the placement of the feature on the top left corner.

I do think the picture was a bit over-exposed, though, with the highlights on the grass and sky being somewhat "blown out".

Nice scale contrast, Del. The colours are very nice, too. Excellent observation.

Lovely moment and excellent light, Ciprian. I love the shallow DOF on him and the sepia toning you achieved with your scanning/in Photoshop.

The one thing I could sugest is to frame Dan a bit more off-center, perhaps to the right...

I dunno... I feel the noise adds to the atmosphere, in a way. However, I do agree with you that the image lacks a lot of sharpness.

Nice colour splashes, anyway. How about deliberately blurring this for a more "impressionistic" feel?

Nice shot with some beautiful and very pleasant colours, Tony. Nice sharpness and definition. The textures of the different parts come out very well.

Looks like you got some really nice light overall.

You are very lucky to have such a beautiful view so close by, Brian. This is a delightful shot, very nicely framed by the reeds on the bottom and the woods on the right.

I like how the light is shining throughout the scene.

Nice shot with great details and colours. This is a very interesting flower and a great subject for this kind of macro photography.

The one think I will suggest is that it needed a smaller aperture for some more depth of field, so more of the flower can be sharp.

Wonderful backlit water shot, György. I really like the way the flowers frame the shot.

Shopping... ladies really delight in that... Good idea: take your camera and keep yourself busy. Just remember to mumble "Yes, great!" or "No, you look beautiful in it", whichever is relevant, whenever she asks anything, or she'll think you're not paying attention

You can feel the weight and the incline, C.

Great shot with excellent atmosphere. I plan to upload some similar ones soon.

Excellent capture of a beautiful smile and nice traditional dress. She looks radiant and the light is also very nice, showing good textures.

It is a real pity about that line cutting diagonally across in the background.

Wonderful alternative look at groom and bride photography. I like the detached generality of it. It says everything that needs to be said to define the scene of a wedding, without getting particular about the couple.

Thanks for the nice comment.

Belíssima imagem, carregada de emocoes e sentimentos do lugar. Gostei do tom escuro no geral da imagem, realcado pelo guarda-chuva, que parece iluminado por uma luz, talvez aludindo aos "halos" de imagens religiosas pintadas.

What a fantastic seascape, Cameny! I love the colours in the water and especially in the sky, but the real bonus for me are the textures of the rocks, the water, and, again, especially the clouds and the far distance.

Wonderful portrait, Mark. Very powerful and poignant. I like the mixture of pain (from the eyes), effort (those puffed up cheeks!) and joy (for music is joy, even when it isn't), all at once, all from the same pic.

Hope they can start all over again...

Another very fine portrait, Chris. You seem to have good skill with taking these ones, as they have a "formal" arrangement to them (head and shoulders, square format) yet feel so informal, relaxed and cosy.

Belo efeito com a forte coloraçăo vermelha. A palavra cortada fica parecendo mais "moço" do que "emoçăo". O efeito fica até bem-humorado mas talvez fosse melhor incluir todo o sinal...

Isso é uma cena observada na rua?
