Reminds me of those incredible photographs taken by the French photographer who travelled by light aircraft and took shots of the varied earth landscapes, very well seen.

Paul,
Just came across your little rant... interesting to note, my first reply got caught by the email N@zis of Usefilm because I must of used language like dumba$$ and cr@!p and the words weren't even aimed at you. There's your freedom for you.
I will grant you that big government needs to watched and there are some reason for concern but you must have taken a beating on Enron stock scandal or love the liberal Kool-aid.
This is my suggestion. Take your theory and meet with Kim Jong-Il to discuss further. I have heard he is very lonely and probably love to hear from you. He will probably offer u tenure at one of his Reeducation centers with thousands of his "hungry" for knowledge students. There u can do unlimited research on Facism or would that be communism or maybe Kimmieism. Check out Cuba, Iran, Russia, China for some good one leftist human rights while ur at it.
Paul the glory of the flag and this country is still great... when our soldiers do wrong, guess what, we put them on trial and deal with it. When terriorist thugs blow up cilivians, woman and children, other nations celebrate. There is a difference and I perfer the place I celebrate the good grace to live in on the Fourth.

Probably hue is from trying to highlight the droplets and lighten up the shadows, was very intense morning sun so the shadows extremely dark. Thanks for commenting.

You think I went nuts on the liquify filter??, no thats really the clouds, grainy from probably a low res scan of the slide. The branches in foreground were tops of my arborvitea trees that were in my front yard at that time.

Love the composition and the dramatic sky and giving the sky the larger portion of the picture making Lady Liberty even more dramatic. Well done.

Laura,
Thanks for the comments. I am not a early riser by nature, but had to take my daughter to the airport to catch an early morning flight and actually was hoping to have some mist or ground fog in the morning to work with, but the sky was just right. I like your YingYang series, new life in the graveyard, your froggie shot and shot of the girl in karate class made me smile. Good work.

Tom, appreciate the "love", all the elements came together, not a everyday occurance. I believe the same tree from another angle is in my portfolio, see under Red, White and Blue. Title of photo is Red, White and I'm feeling Blue.

Our posts from yesterday are like bookends, I got morning covered and you got evening sunset. I see you live in Nashville area, have you ever visited Shiloh National Military Park? That is one eerie yet beautiful area, happened to visit during a weekday with very few others there, and hard to imagine so much humanity dying in several days in one area like that.
