Taken in later August, nobody hanging topless at the beach now, unless you're half penguin.

Very dramatic and interesting composition. One minor nit pick, I'd clone out or darken the lighter spots on the ground by the tree silhouettes, to make the foreground all dark.

Do you live in Minnesota, as in Minnetonka, or does the he/she like to eat a Tonka truck every now and then. That is a face anyone could love.

You are a silly goose. I do like to find interesting cemeteries and my childhood home abutted to a cemetery. It is one of the photo series I work on... check out the night of the lighted dead portfolio if you like... one of my favorite photos (even though it evokes a sad feeling) is Red, White, and i'm feeling blue, to me it is almost the perfect photo with happy colors contrasting with the sad sky, headstones and the lone tree making a strong composition, it hasn't gotten nearly as many views as some of my other stuff but I like none the less.

He was starting to give me the look (one of the reasons I tend to shot nature shots), so I didn't ask any questions, hard to be a beach bum in Duluth, a ski bum maybe...

Nice stop action shot, I usually am seeing the whites of their tail before I can get my camera turned on.

Its Lake Superior and air was warm, but I wouldn't want to go too far out, Superior probably tops out in the 50+ degree range in late summer. As for the subject, yeah I had a stomach like that... in 1975.

Neat shot, I would go tighter, with top and bottom little elements eliminated and just the glacier and its reflections

Nice light, colors and watercolor effect gives it a nice painting feel, but border effect, for me, subtracts more than adds to the picture, but experimenting with PS has really added to the photography experience.

Winning awards are we now, good for you, your comments brighten my day... nice shot, oh how I wish I live within a few hours drive of Yosemite, visited just once, it truly is a mystical place.

you are right, need to hit the clean sensor button more often, I try to clone out spots when they occur, must have missed this one.

Nice experimentation, like the blue versus the red sky, suggestion maybe try to highlight the barely visible monuments or darken it up so only the angel and skyline are in visible.

I was giving you good natured grief for inserting the VW bug... I had a good laugh. A rimshot is a term for the sound effect of a crashing cymbal after a play on words or pun such as your title is uttered. I like your work alot sorry for the miscue.

I thought you like the quilt shots,... actually the "watercolor" quilt, is a close up of quilt I used to do a updated photo of my daughter, who is now 19, alas she wasn't in an all pink outfit this time around, imagine that. I had to sweet talk the artist who was wary of me taking the shot of her quilt. I will post that photo one of these days... hope my photo can contribute to a future quilt.

I just did a hue shift to get the different look, I didn't do anything with the original colors before changing the hue. I should send you a copy of the original.
