I'd have to say that I preferred the old style. That's just a personal thing on the look of the site, and comes from my being fairly conservative by nature.
However (you knew it was coming...) sometimes we have to change if only to see if we can progress. Without change things can become stagnant and stationary. Without change, we don't learn or progress. Sometimes, we have to try something new for a while if only to remind ourselves how good things were.
I'm a big fan of this site, and believe it's one of the best photo forums on the 'net. I prefer the old style.....but a change is always good to perk up interest, and if this change brings more photographers (and more donors) to the site, then it's a good thing for Usefilm.

OH yeah! I like the composition here Salvatore, it works really well. The placement of the bird in the frame with the shaft of light coming across the frame from the diffused sun is marvellous. The contrast of the colour of the bird against the sky works well too. Nice shot indeed, my friend.

THe colour is a standout here. I like the way you've played with the white balance to get this result.

Whooa! Took me a moment to figure this one out...
Certainly an eye catching shot Salvatore. The colour is very good, it gives the shot a very liquid feel which is broken up nicely by the "square" pattern that you've used. I like this, nice work.

Lovely work. The composition is very strong, and I like the way the light brings out the ripples on the surface of the water. The colours are marvellous. The whole shot has a very relaxed, calm feel to it. Well done.

I think that the lighting you've used here is excellent! It highlights the subject without isolating it, and works nicely with the composition of the shot. The differing textures of the fruit, the table, and the knife have combined nicely. Superb shot.

I love the perspective here, the lines of the jetty really draw the eye into the shot very well, and the contrast of the solours of the sky and the sand, with the water interposed in between, gives the shot a nice impact. Well done.

Oh, I like this, I like this a lot. The tones really set a fine, mellow mood here, and I like the way you've arranged the bottle, the glass, and the cork. The woodgrain really pulls the eye into the shot.
I hope that the wine tasted as good as the shot looks. Very Well Done indeed!
