beatiful picture. Remarkable how the flower looks exactly like a flamingo.

She's just wondering... this picture proves that the question whether a woman should trust a man is a question of all times, all races and all species :)

Since we all know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I wonder who's who on this picture... Great shot, no matter the outcome:)

Nice touch, the colour combination and the sense of depth; very rare in a macro shot.

Floral shots don't get any better than this. They can have more colours, more post-processing gimmicks, but this perfectly framed subtle combination of elegance and fragility is a winner.

Nice to see you also have a lazy sunday afternoon picture... and you also have three variations on the same theme, in your case it is the blue colour. Very nice.

Superb colour combination and very good title.
And the great camera also helps; tough to beat consumer camera, the k10D shooting raw files.
But what really amazes me is the depth of field you achieved with that lens. Very impressive.

Great action shot Dave, I never got pictures half as good as this one when I had the s5000... Must have something to do with the one behind the lens...:)

Nice picture, with those huge clouds threatning to crush the village. I like the timing a lot.

very nice atmosphere walter and a very intreeguing shot too. It's almost as id the cyclist is competing with the clouds.

superb light and tones, too bad about the artefacts, probably caused by compression

It's great, the way you managed to keep the bird crystal clear while the sky remained bright and blue.

I like the outcome a lot and I am very interested in the story of the creative process if you can spare the time to describe it some day.

Very nice. I like the slight suggestion of shade you allowed into the image. A lot of times models seem to 'float'in this type of picture, but yours is technically perfect.

Funny indeed, but also a (accidentally) very inyeresting picture. There are two red accents versus a green background creating depth in the image, as complemantary colours usually do, and de lines formed by the buildings leading to the distant hills add even more 3d to your picture. I think it's a little gem.

Thank you Michele, I always thought she was meant ot be a model someday, but she never had any inclination to pursue the matter... Maybe a very wise decision

Very nice to see you start to push the Nikon to the hilt right away.
Great colours and nowhere near any highlight clipping or overexposure due to mperfect flash metering. Congratulations with the cam and I hope we will see a lot more of it.
