Lovely lighting, reflections and detail. At a first glance I would have "stopped" the composition on the left, right after the steam. But those cables floating in the middle of the composition without a source would have spoiled it.
So you've made the perfect choice afaik.

Hi Sam! Funny how the reflected electric lines match the water ripples. A somewhat sad mood saying goodbye to 2007. A very nice composition ... hope 2008 will bring you even more activities, health, wealth and happiness

As always your dalmatian look great and adds good sense of depth to this landscape. A beautiful photo even with smoke from the chimney which proves that what appeals the eyes can´t be prescribed or set in a recipe:-)

It's on a glass plate indeed and it took me some shots to avoid reflexion and to get the focus right, but it worked out nicely indeed.

amazing shot, looks like that thing being on a glass or something like that! so you catch it at the ...AIR! PERFECT focus and flash is very good here with not so strong shinings on its body...really angly bug BUT really a great photo!!!
