all i done was use the magic wand to highlight her, once she is highlighted select inverse option so everything but her is highlighted and then desaturate it, easy! cheers 4 ur comments

brilliant photo, great job.....but......might have tried blurring the background to show a sense of speed? but i still cant fault it otherwise as it is superb
