It looks like and available light portrait. I think it has a nice "James Dean" type quality to it, however I think a reflector to add some life to the eyes would have made a big difference.

Beautiful, soft portrait. I like the shadows on the face, from the rose. I do think that this model needed to be moved a little farther from the drop, or a shallow DOF used, to blur it more. This may have caused more problems with shadows, but possibly bounced some light or reflected some to prevent these.

The blurryness does not bother me. I like photos that are not always tack sharp. They convey more emotion often. The only nit I have is the dust in the picture. If you could clone it out or rescan, I think you would have a real keeper.

I like your framing and crop. The subject is a nice idea too, it would lend itself to a subtle duotone etc. I think the lighting needs a bit of softening and colour balance though.
