Excellent capture, Samiha. Why did you catgorize it as abstract? It's a beautiful picture of nature. Perhaps the transparency of the dragon-fly's wings ade reminded you of abstract?
Shukran, ya Samiha, for your thoghtful comment on my "Little ones."

A very strong pair of compementary colors here, SaMiha, and especially the contrast between the lighter tones and good details on the foreground against the darker softer background works very well.

The contours of the main object on the foreground seem to suffer a bit due to oversgarpening, though. There are partial but still visible pixelations on the shining contours of the flower. And, BTW, the signature of your name in the middle of the image diesn't work. Think of putting it somewhere near the edge in some more subtle way.

Cheers!

Nick

A very well, very strictly defined palette of hues, SaMiHa, and also one that attracts attention to the most importnat things here. The reds and the greys in all their strong atenuations from pure white to pure black really do much too much here. I would prefer, I guess, to also exclude the browns of the coffee by replacing them with greys to, but as they are not so far from greys they also donyyyyyyy't do much harm.

But above all I fond the well balanced composition so good here. Especially in combination with the well formed curves of the cup, the composition looks absolutely natural and pleasing. Perhaps the exposure and the focus did have some few problems too, when I see the rather hard gradients. But on the other hand, this does also contibute to the rather "schematic" sense of your image.

Very very interesting, I must say.

Nick
