when I first viewed this image in the gallery, I thought it was a piece of glass frozen over with ice crystals...then I see the full size image and realize that it is grass. WOW!!! Incredible! Nicely done, Roy.

Hi Roy, it is a wonderful to find a kollegue. I was going the same way from digital to 35mm analaog, from 6x6 to 4x5 inch. I work with an Linhof Master Technika.
I found your picture excellent. you can't compare it with digital work. Fore my viewing is also a good example is a valuable picture for education. You must know i am a teacher :-)).
I understand that problem with sharpness on the monitor after scanning. Which scanner you used?
However it is nevertheless an excellent picture, congratulation

Incredible. I really want to get into architecture exploration, and this is why. Such extrordinary composition. I really like the limited tonal range, and the fact that the majority of it is a nuetral gray. This seems to place a strong focus on the abstract nature of the shapes alone. And then at the same time, you know it is a physical space so you explor the photo to find human/manmade objects that give the shapes context. This is exactly what I want to create. Great work. Thanks for sharing it.

remind one how serious and horrible war is!
i would like it better without the grass in foreground, and with the tree in the background fitting that hole under the branch of the tree in foreground. just IMHO
