Great colors, how could you not pull over and take a shot? 6
I can't help myself from tweaking. A little Gamma correction and unsharp mask is PS

I like the lines of this one roy, but I personally feel it is too "cramped" I would have like a bit more space around the edges.

Oh, man! The macro bug has been unleashed in you!!
All three of this series are right up my alley. The ruby red grapefruit color forming the background helps the image become more abstract.
Very nice work, Roy!

I like it a lot, i liked the simplicity of the composition, just one object with a background. I think the glow behind the flower and the colour of the blurry sky give it a speciall effect. congrats

You should try that with a 14mm lens
Ultra-wides are fun! Good exposure in what I know is a tricky exposure. Good point-of-view, and nice sky.

Way cool, Roy. Awesome use of the wide angle.
Did you use a reflector of any kind underneath the flower? You managed to get details within the silhouetted area.
Nice work!

Not sure why no one has commented on this one Roy, but I really like it. Excellent use of an unusual position. I like the light coming through the petals, but not actually in the sky. Really well done.

The Museum is a great work of architecture in the daytime. But it has these little gems at night. Douglas Cardinal's vision was well captured in this night shot. I do like available darkness and may have tried it a bit darker, or toned down the lighter areas at the top of the frame. Nice warm image.

Really nice architecture shots lately, Roy. I like how the deep blue cast to the sky forms a nice color contrast with the stairs.
This composition pulls you right up the stairs. As Stephen pointed out, the peek of the building at the top is a real treat.

Very nice and subtle image . . . appreciate the vertical/horizontal play and the straight v. curvature contrast . . . also the very pleasurable color, and the slightly mysterious, interesting top right quadrant light . . . and the suggestion of further intriguing structure if one walks the stairs, due to the appearance of the small segment of a more distant building at very top . . .
