Great shot, but I think it could be more dramatic if you boost the contrast, especially on that thin spit of land on the horizon.

I like the DOF and off-centering of your subject. It gives one the impression that she stopped playing for the shot based on the people in the background.

Reality indeed, I can't help but look @ that scar, how in the world did that happen? This type of shot reminds of the likes of Richard Avedon whom I'm sure would've photographed her too. Nice catchlight on her eyes, well taken Ray, regards.

The sun was just right...at that "sweet spot" right befor sunset. It dropped under clouds and then within seconds of this shot, dropped back into clounds. I only got about 3 shots at this before it was gone.
