It is looking through a porthole on the vehicle deck of a ferry, the saltwater rusts the decks and makes for a nice picture.
Thanks

Thanks, it is unfortuantly one of those pictures that look great at full size and the black on the right is much less extreme than is shown here.
and yes just a new vancouverite as of june. i quite like the pictures on your website, the canadian landscape work is very well done. feel free to check mine out www.colbornecafe.com im just in the process of changing it over from my relay for life site to my photography one.
thanks ~braden

Great yellow, the color jumps out very well, leaving the gold/bronze object in darkness, almost a reverse sun.
what is it of though?

Not entirely sure what it is as far as subject matter, but as far as quality it is excellent!
the way that each droplet has its own focus on the entire mesh like screen is fascinating.
Keep it up! ~Braden

Rather great shot Greg!! the only think i have to say about it as far as critiquing is that your "watermark" or logo is very large and distracting, have you thought about doing a bordered logo?
otherwise great shot and perfect layout! ~Braden
