Yes carol the contrast was intended as part of the effect. The lighting was form a cars headlamps against a tunnel wall in the mountians

I think the contrast adds to the effect he is trying to achieve ..I like it...
I would like even more with a Gradiated Border to stop the heavy colours from bleeding off the edges??

I agree, the edges are a bit shart... there seems to be a halo ontop of the mountains that take away from the clouds..
The presentation is good and the subject is good...
