Chris:
I know what you mean about the jpeg compression. I have the same problem sometimes. It is still a nice photo though. Really.

Lisa -- the picture was taken in Harrogate, Tennessee. The original is a bit brighter, but for some reason it got darker when I posted it here. I'm guessing it's because of the jpeg compression...

I think this scene has alot of potential if you had some nice glowing light on the fg tractor, and used a polarizer for the sky. The image does feel abit tilted as well, a tripod with a bubble helps to ensure a straight image, not to mention sharpness. nice effort.

This is a very cool image, just happened to be going through your images and saw this. I like the reflection especially.

I really like this photo, but that could be because I am a country girl. May I ask where this was taken? It looks a little like Virgina. The tractor could be a little brighter, but I like the way it stands out against the backdrop of the mountains.

Compositionally it's well balanced and a nice image. could use IMO just a bit more saturation.

Hi Christer,

Nice picture! I think it's a bit heavy on the bare trees, I would crop closer to the farm so it stands out better. I love American farms and this is a classic one with silo and barn. Nice!

Nice shot, like the contrast and the pitch black background. Was it scanned from a print? As others have commented, you could rotate the object any number of ways to get different views and effects. I like what you've done, and as I always say, I would crop in. Make it bigger, get it in my face!

I do like the reflection of the person in the wheel chair. It does give over to thought of what war can do to loved ones. At a time like this that we are having in America, tho, I'm at a loss for real words of feelings. Fighting for our countries freedom from terrorism, will it bring war? That is the other side of the story that as a mother I never know what to say.

interesting shot...I would like to see the razor head tilted more towards the camera so as to see the grooves better and make a more interesting abstract...
