Beautiful portrait. Usually I like the high key for the lighting. Very well expression and beautiful face details.

Well dude, you are really getting the lighting down!

Sharpness is excellent, light looks great, great model... Really nothing to say on this. I love the DOF too!

Great man!

I think Steve's right. The sky could be cropped a bit, but this is still great! Plus if you do crop it, the horizon will no longer be centered which I think will help.

(I could be on crack however. :-)

Nice one Dave. I like long exposures and you captured this one pretty darn well! Nice, really nice color here and the contrast between the colors is all the better in a shot taken like this one. Had this been taken during the day it would have been just another boat shot, but you have bumped it up a few notches. Cool one Dave.

Very nice Dave. Exposure looks good. I see that you're faced with the same problem I had with my San Diego shot...too much empty sky. You could crop 2/3 of the sky and it will still look awesome.

I like the strong color saturation. It's very appropriate for this type of situation. Otherwise, the visual impact wouldn't exactly be in line with the reason the photographer was inclined to make this photograph. The yellow light on the left is a great contrast to the blue that's everywhere. The moment was just made for this photo.

Cool stuff. You know I love night shots. The composition seems unbalanced, but it add tension. Go Dave Go.

Ok Dave...the first thing I noticed was that the arm is too hot. Need to dodge that bad boy and clone out the white spot in the upper left.

Mondo!

The background looks to have the perfect DOF. The lighting does look a bit harsh.. I can't offer you ways to improve it however as you are already way beyond me in the lighting game. Overall I like this very much... Mayb a diffuser on one light?

David,

Good pose but I don't like the lighting.. your right about the reflector as you need to fill the dark spot on the top of her head.

Pretty girl, decent pose and background, but what kind of lighting are you using? You may want to experiment with softening the light more as this seems a little harsh. Many shiny spots on her face.
