Dalla miniatura non avevo capito, mi aspettavo un altro dei tuoi splendidi dettagli, invece hai catturato un paesaggio, ma oserei dire con la stessa tecnica, soffermandoti su una parte invece che sul tutto, in maniera molto originale ed il risultato mi piace assai. Ciao, Max

You are right, the liquis in the cup and on the table is water, because so the "metal effect" I have thought that it was better than real coffee

Hi Jake,
I'm deeply impressed by the talent you are showing in your portfolio. I am suprised there aren't more comments on your work as the quality in general is superb. This image is the third I've looked at and is truly superb. You have captured the textures of the metal very very well and also managed a very good reflection too. The drops of liquid (I suspect this is water and not coffee?) to the side add to the image and give it a measure of life too. I also love the colours you've caught, rich warm and glowing... Altogether a superb image and one that deserves recognition.

I have to agree with Hugo on this one. This could have been spectacular if the the DOF were a touch deeper so as to include all the front of the tree. This would then bring the textures of the tree into clearer focus which would then dramatically lift the interest in the image. On the other hand, the colours you've captured are simply amazing and so vivid!

Good choice of time of day for this shot Jake. The late (or early) sun has really accentuated the contours of the hills. I also like how the portrait format of teh shot accentuates the height of the hills whilst the long focus lens has compressed the image slightly too. Very creative and clever shot Jake

Bella immagine, il sole basso con le ombre hanno enfatizzato questo lavoro della natura.
Un po piccola per apprezzarla a pieno ma rende bene l'idea.

I think that you are right: a closer distance in this shoot probabily was needed to to emphasize the perspective.

Wonderful light, Jake. Very nice detail captured here. Perhaps a bit of PS work to correct the perspective (converging verticals) could be justified here, though I know not everyone approves of that.

Excellent use of the dark tones, Jake.
I wonder if there was a way to use perspective to also enhance the mood. Perhaps a closer distance and lower angle?

A proposito di soggetti semplici da cui si possono ricavare belle foto Con un lucchetto ed una catena hai realizzato un'immagine veramente piacevole, ben composta e con colori suggestivi. comunque non č tessuto che assomiglia ad un paesaggio ma il contrario!!
Sono delle colline arate prese dall'alto con tele e ho lavorato un po'sulle curve successivamente in photoshop
