Thanks Yasuyuki, for you comments. I did intentionally leave the extra space, and have it out of focus. However, it was meant as an "alternative" portrait. :)

Un abrazo!

Thanks for the comment Diego! I wish the tree was slightly more focused, but it was difficult with the sun coming through the lens.

Hey thanks Dave...I got up at 5am on Saturday so that I could get to that area by 7:30...however, with all of my stops and treks, this wasn't taken until almost noon!! And you haven't missed it all yet...we're supposed to have a "mild" winter this year, and a lot of the trees haven't turned quite yet with our warmer temps. Just an FYI...

Wish I were there this weekend... Wanted to catch turning Aspens... Oh well, may have to wait until the snow flies and capture winter shots... ... or maybe just head for the Carribean and stay warm.

thanks for your comment. i like composition, and exposore here. However, possibly it was better for there to be no space on the left-hand side of the wall of a stone, or to put in to a slight degree. anyway nice work!

Pretty good find, but I would have focus to infinity and not the rock formation. This way it would be blurred and take away the rock feel to it.
