Rose...
I am trying to get in touch with you and sent you a comment, but have no idea whether it got through.
Can you contact me and let me know the best way to contact you.
I'm interested in your mandala art/photo for the cover of my book.
Thanks...

Ms. Rose Martin...
I found your mandala/medicine wheel on line and find it absolutely stunning. I am about to publish a book, "Apocalyptic Grace - The Evolution of Culture and Consciousness", through Ocean Tree Books, Santa Fe, New Mexico. The book will be used primarily as a text book for college classes I teach in anthropology, psychology and comparative religion in Northern New Mexico. Most of my students are from the local Native American and Hispanic cultures.

As much of this work is about the evolution of shamanism, and the medicine wheel/mandala being a perfect representation of that, I wanted to ask you your consideration in having your photo be on the color cover, and also used as the black and white diagram introducing each new chapter/cultural world. I would be happy to send you in hard copy and/or e-mail the manuscript to see what it is about. i will also be using the book as a calling card to lead cultural diversity workshops.
Thank you so much for your attention to this, and, of course, your splendid art.
I can be reached at 505-927-3747 and wildmtngoat@valornet.com

Yutaka, I figured you would catch it. The association is the dangers of love. It demonstrates how powerful the emotion is and what damage it can leave. Very good

An amazing composition, I'm sure you were very nostalgic - perhaps facing a new 'chapter' in our life - I wonder what special memento will add to this collection from the wedding. I don't carry much round as such, but I do have very special things, and sometimes they are quite silly and you wonder why you kept them, and why you still hang on to them

At first glance, this looked like one really mean mouse with a sword. After reading the "about" section, it reminds me of several things that my wife always hangs onto. She never throws anything away. When my son was 3 months old, we went to Disney World. Feeling guilty for leaving him with a sitter, we bought him a Mickey Mouse. My boy kept it with him always until he turned 10. Now my wife has it stored away along with every card I've ever given her. I tell her to trash it all, takes up too much room, but she always wins out.
Thanks for sharing, Interesting set up and excellent composition. My other hobby is genealogy and certain things kept over time is extremely valuable, like your immigration records from Germany. It shows a record of your family history, and that in itself is very much worth holding onto.
Best wishes,
Michael
