I am thinking about doing an 8x10 and doing a square 8x8 crop, what do you think?
I have this problem with cropping, I am used to landscape Photography; portraiture is so different I feel that I am learning photography all over.

I really like this photo. I might have cropped just a bit more off the right side and only coloured the overalls. The blueness of his eyes are too startling against the b/w.

I like the shallow dof, and his "deer in the headlights" expression. I think he could use a touch more light on his face and in his eyes and maybe just a bit of sharpening. His eyes are gorgeous.
