Thanks Dave! I have been trying to "master" panning shots as i like sports photography...but my heart really belongs to portraiture photography. ) I still cant afford to buy expensive lenses...so i still stick to my micromotor lenses... ) Thanks again.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your comments. This was shot at around 240mm. The lens im using is the cheapest of the 75-300 range of canon. Better buy the 75-300mm IS version if your budget permits. Or better get an L lens instead. I never thought that I'll be getting this sharp pic with that slow focusing lens. however, was lucky my hands were steady that day.

The angle really suits this for some reason. Also the boat came in fairly sharp. was this shot at full tele? And was it fairly sunny or overcast? I'm considering getting the lens you used so I'm interested in finding out how it performs.

Nice shot of Suntec's fountain!

Just wondering why is it slighly greenish on the bottom left? Is it because it's slide film?

Wonderful Photograph Francis, Great Colors and Clarity. Very well presented. Too bad you couldn't have gotten the shutter speed up to freeze the wing movement....

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks Elisa for your comment. Yes, you are correct, it should have been panned a litte more to the right. I guess I have some problems with the viewfinder. Im actually just beginning photography and this was taken from my 2nd roll of film.
Hope you do comment on my next pictures to come.
