Hello Joanna. I don't like to tell people how to shoot their pictures. I think it would be rude to give directions to others or tell them how to take pictures to satisfy my tastes. I believe everyone should have a free hand at creating their artwork, without a concern that I would like it or not. I can only express what I think when I see a photo. I have also hard time to write some bogus "I love it" comments when I think otherwise. Good luck to You. I did not try to be disrespectful in any way or form. Thank You and good luck.

Hi Astrid - as I've said to Mirek I think the colours are beautiful. My only suggestion would be to crop the bottom just a touch to bring the eye level up a tad. Congrats on capturing this beauty. Kind regards, Jo

I think that's a bit harsh Mirek! The colours are beautiful - and every sunset is beautiful but to capture it and share it is what the site is all about surely? Also the site is here to help photographers help fellow photographers to improve - and so constructive criticism is what we're all looking for? It would have been much more helpful for you to provide Astrid with suggestions on how to improve, no? Jo

In my opinion the shot is empty. All the elements feel so far away from the camera the picture has no personality. There is the setting Sun, but not every sunset is automatically spectacular.

Thanks for your comment, Francini. The horses are Belgium Plow horses. Mainly used for a sport practiced here on the islands. Ringriding.

I totally agree with Mirek on this. Maybe just a tighter crop from left to eliminate the distraction of the white object. I like the tones and colors. Very moody display of Mom nature.
