i like it the way it is.
close-up portraits should be personable rather than "artificial", leave artificial to fashion photography.

Thanks Fabrice. The desaturation was done bcoz i want the focus to be the rainbow sofa, which actually missing the color green and hence the title.

well capture! coincidentally(?) the contrasting colors of the girls' clothes make the photo more dynamic.

Hi Lisa,
Thank u for your comments. If not for the sun shining at the city behind me, i would hv missed it when i looked into the restuarant. Time was abt 8am, couldn't check into the hotel so was "forced" to go for a walk. But... what a walk it turned out to be. :-)
Btw, your photos are very affectionate.

yes, the sun was really bright but shining at that angle didn't illuminate the opera house which i think was an interesting silhoutte shot of the famous venue.

Thanks for yout comment. :-)

i like the simple contrast of the door with the textured floorings. i would think it would look better with darker shadows (cast by the door) on the floor. good work though.

Thanks for the comments Marco.
It was an interesting idea of the organiser.
At first i really thought someone was standing there looking from a distance. There were a few different sketches on the various pillars.
cheers... Steven
