'Lo Art. Thanks for your reply. Dunno at this stage. I only fairly recently revived an intrest in photography, and boy have things changed! I sort of looked down on "digital" photography 'till i got this computer and I learning (slowly) about the massive potential ofDP. For now I'll use old stuff as I have thousands of pics in stock and it's easy to pick a title of Dylans to match a picture...I haven't got a decent dig. cam. yet-but I'm seeing pics. all the time, and I'm gonna get one soon. as it is -it takes me 1/2 hour in PS to get one ready for UF ! Did you enjoy your stay here in Waterford? I'm posting one especially for you later. Slainte, Larry

Hi there Larry, thanks for all the praise, but you gave me way too much credit... and I don't get that much comments either.... ;-D! About this series/street shot. Yep they're there and I saw them as well (also been to Palermo; not the same mum and kids, but similar....). I'm not really the person to tell you something about a shot like this... I stick to landscapes, abstracts and flowers/macros. I Like the crop and the angle is good but maybe it would have more 'impact' if we weren't looking down on them so much, and you lost some clarity by scanning... might have a look at that. The sign says (I'm not able to get/read all but the general idea is): I'm a Romanian woman with five children, my husband died.... please help/give something.... one of my kids needs an operation.... What you believe of this, well she has two for sure, but the guy emptying the box probably was dad.....

Thanks Larry. Am originally from Youghal and now reside in Carrigtwohill. I regularly cross over the Waterford border but intend to venture further east in the coming months. One of the finest photos I've seen on the site is your "Waterford City" and I'd really love to duplicate that. Regards.

Hi John. I noticed your stuff when you first started posting. By God you've been busy! Super portfolio. Looks like you're mad about the 'ol water-you should make that your niche. You will never be short of material thats for sure. I have a feeling you live pretty close to Waterford? Now don't get tooooo close like a good man- give the rest of us a chance! Gonna add you to associates if you don't mind, gonna keep an eye on you... All the best , Larry
