I like the mirror images in the frame. The two staircases and the two doors. Lot of interesting detail and good colours. Maybe just a bit too much sharpening. Nice work. Regards John

I like this portrait a lot. It is so very simple and direct and has a special presence. Tonally, I like how the light tones of the man's woolen cap work to encircle his head with the light tones in his beard and hair. There is great dignity and peacefulness about this African (?) man. I think this is the best portrait you have posted. Bravo!

This is interesting--a very low viewpoint, a fairly wide-angle lens, and no leaning verticals! I guess you must have corrected them fairly heavily with PhotoShop or PanoTools... The perspective is excellent, and the lighting helps bring out those textures. Great grunge!

Wonderful picture, I don't know how you did it but it's perfect. I take a look at your portfolio and there are many good photo's. I like them. And ofcourse my favorite colours B&W.

absolutely Svend? the challenge for the photographer anywhere, Poland, Vietnam, Zululand? no matter where? is to engage people to trust the camera and himself - that is the nectar from where springs the power and beauty we see in the shots? - nothing metaphysical nor geographical about it!
