It wasn't quite this saturated, but it was close using a polarizer. The skies are bluer there I guess due to the lack of polution and the water reflects the sky. These scenes always seem to be presented very saturated, thanks for your comment!!

Great shot I like the composition and colors. In a situation like this, you might try a split gradient filter on the sky and the mountian to bring out the foreground a little. It really depends how many stops different the sky is from the green foreground as to how much success you will have. With the light behind you, you should have pretty good success.
