Beautiful girl. This one is a keeper and will be priceless in 20 years. I agree with the other comment about taking her out of the direct sunlight. The light on her right cheek and shoulder is very harsh indeed. Still nice work :-)

Gabrielle, I totally agree an award is in order. I grew up one of 5 girls. I had no idea what to do with Dominick, my first when he was born. No dolls, No pink dresses and No ribbons. He has shown me just how beautiful and special little boys are. All of them are just perfect.
Cheers,
Karen

WOW you have 3 boys also- I think we mothers of 3 boys deserve a special award. I love the facial expression of the stripey one!

Looks just like I remember it.

Where was it?

(Unlikely I've ever been there as my only visit to the USA was to Virginia and Washington DC. But it definitely looks just like the night club bar I went to in Paris a couple of weeks ago!)

Many thanks for your comment on my "Comimg back in" photo. Looks like you are learning fast with your new Camera. I bought my digital camera in May this year and I'm up to image no 6745!

Did I ever thank you for your comments? My husband was wondering what your shirt says in in your profile. I shot some ducks today! Just head shots through a fence they were not very helpful.
Thank you for taking the time on my photos.

Thanks Renee. Yes it is a little gross. I was worried that it would turn people off the picture but I couldn't get past his expression. He usually loved to eat and actually makes a MMMMMMMM sound after every spoonful except this day.

Thanks Toni, He was sitting in the corner of the high chair. I kept proping him up in the center but he does not sit up well yet. I had to trick him with bananas to get him to open up and every time the spinach would hit his tongue out it would come. I tried to crop the dark spot out. It did not look right so I left it alone. I will try again.

Priceless, Karen. I might try cropping it on the right to omit the dark space because it pulls my eye out to the right corner and away from the focal point of the babies face. Beautiful moment, and lovely capture. T.

Now there's a kid with attitude. What a cutie. I would have tried for a quicker fstop, or smaller appature so that his face wasn't so bright, but the capture is brilliant. Nice job. Dottie

Karen I like the tones in this image, even balanced with no blowouts.
My wife has gave me the duty of some family portraits....I'm scared as I capture animals...well some might consider my kids animals lol
I hope to get the colors and tones that you have in this image.
Very well done.
ty for the kind comment as well
