.....what do you mean, 'what it means', round our way they all hang their boots on the nearest telephone pole, done it for years, nothing to it.......the coppers come of course but we sed we never saw nuffin!.....good work Jim, boots an all. cheers, david.

hi Kelly, this is a stand out portrait for me, I did notice the composition and wonder if the dark space could be on the other side of your subjects head but I'm not sure, what you have done works for me, like it, good work. cheers, david.

Krishnendu, what interests me, in my surroundings, is our constant and unending pursuit of having more things, often, it seems, at the expense of a more spiritual, you might say, compassionate approach to ourselves and others and so your image in it's simplicity, suggests a person going about their life with peace of mind, shelter and some food perhaps.....just the way it struck me. kind regards, david.

hi Malules, your image seems to have attracted a lot of comment, most of which, of course, I don't undertand!!!...quite apart from the fact that, to my simple mind, it is an optical illusion or otherwise suffice it to say that I have been unable to identify what is reflected on the image.....and then, of course, it is snow collecting on a wire....but why green.....no matter, the shot evokes feelings of poverty and lack, makes me think that less is more and in Gabriella's poem 'and conquered death takes refuge trembling in the narrow circle of the present moment'.......brilliant work Malules. thank you. kind regards, david.

I love this composition Maja, somebody said the image is not too sharp, perhaps to suggest that it could be sharper but sharp is sharp and people are softer and this shot is human and warm, I would have cropped it square because I am stuck on square at the minute.......lovely work, well done. kind regards, david.
