This really caught my because it looked so like a detail from a Velasquez or Caravaggio painting. They would have commeded the 'chiaroscura' (light and shade) of this fine image.Congratulations on your day of fame, courtesy of Kodak. It will look good in my Favourites folder.Best wishes. David

I actually like this little critter, even though it's a type of photo we have all seen before. Your subject is soooo 'curious' for being unusual, at least in my neck of the woods. I've never seen this type of animal before. Very cute. And the new cropping works well. Thank you for sharing.

Hard to believe that this is an animal.. I was thinking white moss!
I haven't seen the original, but this crop works well, bring the caterpillar into the frame as the main focus. Great DOF... the vivid green background sets off the white of the little guy nicely.
