Kevin, There's so much good stuff in this image ... the textures, the lighting, the composition, the range and tones to the colors. But best of all, I like the little muddy pool in the foreground. Wonderful, congratulations! Mark

Strong patterns. Evokes a cold, modern, metro-concrete feeling. The use of the layers adds additional visual interest.

Nice choice of Black & White (which you so rarely use ... so, great call, actually). Beautiful angle ... nice depth of field - love the detail in the bricks ... A Superb Shot! A well deserved 7. Mark

Your image captures the decisive moment ... the moment of no return. Your subject has committed himself to the dive, but as yet, has not really begun the descent. I am particularly fond of the composition, with the other figure looking on. And, withthe manner in which the diver's body leaps out of the lower right hand corner of the frame. Very nicely done! The image has such an "other worldly" feel to it, as if the huge white ball (weather station) had been dropped from outer space, into a landscape where it doesn't belong.

John, Very neat. I think the greyish blue tones from the sea are a perfect complement to the cream colored wall. The composition is very nice, I think the relative weight and placement of the window to the sea is just right, vis a vis the amount of wall. Good job. Mark

Kevin ... nicely done. It's a shame when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate, causing you to add the more interesting sky. Althoug it would be an entirely different image, had you considered working with the natural "bland" sky, and creating a moody black & white image, as another view of your shot? Congrats. Mark

Nice! An image - which by definition is a subset of something larger, and therefore is framed. Whcih, within the image, the out of focus tree acts as a frame ... only to be led into the center, which is itself framed by the smaller tree. Neat effect. Well done, Todd. Mark

Mohamed, I like this abstract image very much. The brass ring draws the eye in toward the center, and I wonder if you have considered increasing the brightness and contrast of the background portion of the image found in the center of the ring? There appear to be some very interesting colors which may be more visible if something is done to highlight them a little more. Keep up the good work. Best regards, Mark
