I like this one because of its simplicity and its stellar DoF. Everything is concise and logical, great job!

I am intrigued by the footprints in the foreground...I think they are worthy of focus. So maybe the cropping could be more oriented towards bringing them out (i.e. less sky and negative space) IMHO. I like your choice of b&w tones, though I think maybe the curves could be adjusted. Nice job overall.

Sunny indeed. Normally I would critique the tightness of the composition but I think it is apt to its title this way. Good job.

A very interesting and photogenic plant. I am a little distracted by the light in the background. Possibly tone it down or something?

Very cool photo. It's out of the box, which I appreciate especially in florals. I do wonder if maybe the composition is a little tight.

Very intriguing shot. I like your use of framing and composition for this. The b&w tones are good as well.

Very stunning landscape shot, Steve. While I think Fabrizio's rendition is a little over-the-top, I do agree with his portrayal of the hills in the distance. Just a little more depth!

And to think what kind of superficial meaning I would have obtained from this image had I not read your description! I see it now and I'm impressed. Might I suggest just a little curves/levels adjustment to get a little more texture from the snow rather than a white mass? Great job.

Nice historical shot. I'm not familiar with the locale but it seems interesting nonetheless. Nice capture.

This is wonderful, and one of the most subtle yet effective hand coloring jobs I've seen. Great portfolio...shame it's underappreciated....

Awesome B&W image. The composition is almost like it wants to be centered but it's veering a little to the right. You should probably pick one or the other and stick with it. Other than that, great job.

Very spring-y feel! I like the pose...everything conspires to be very relaxing. I'm curious as to the ray that comes in from the top left corner and goes diagonally.

I'm curious to know how much you changed the colors because this is absolutely stunning. Was it this stunning in real life? I'm blown away by the vivdness of your colors as well as the detail of the sky.

Nice skin tones though, since you've opened the floor for criticism, I would like to see the skin a little more saturated, especially for digital. Just my humble opinion. I like the expresion you've caught him in, though.

Excellent capture, Kevin. I would prefer the B&W to be a little more saturated and a little more contrast. Other than that, nice clouds.

Very interesting shot. Your lines and composition bring me right up to the top, which I suppose is your goal. The black lettering on the lower right hand corner is a bit distracting, but not too much so.
